TALK & SPEAKER:

ROBERT PAVLIS is a well-known speaker, and educator with over 40 years of gardening experience. He is an award-winning author of several books, Building Natural Ponds, Soil Science for Gardeners and Garden Myths. Robert publishes the popular gardening blog GardenMyths.com. As the owner and head gardener of Aspen Grove Gardens, a six-acre botanical garden in Southern Ontario, he grows 3,000 varieties of plants.

For January, Robert will be speaking on how to build natural ponds that are clean, algae-free, and without pumps, filters, or chemicals. A natural pond is free of hassle, cost and complexity, and designed as a fully functional ecosystem, ideal for biodiversity, swimming, irrigation and quiet contemplation.
